The host does the work. Closing this screen leaves its services running. A sleeping computer or stopped host interrupts collection and monitoring. Your phone is a control and monitoring app; it is not an always-on trading engine.
Choose where Harbor runs
Each device connects to a host. Keep one host per portfolio to avoid duplicate experiments.
Keep it in the tray
The desktop app keeps its local services running when you close its window. Reopen Harbor from the tray. Quitting the app stops the host.
Sleep and computer shutdown still stop processing. Running at system login is an opt-in desktop setting.
Install your host’s app
Open your host’s HTTPS address. On iPhone, use Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen. On Android, use the browser’s Install app or Add to Home screen option.
You can close the phone app; the computer/server keeps working. Offline screens cannot show current balances or execute controls.
Stay available
Run the host on an always-on machine behind HTTPS. Initialize its owner locally first, then use the same private address and password on your devices.
